Our sustainable actions create added value by securing our livelihood for many decades to come. This is based on the triangle of economic cooperation, further education and resource-conserving forest management.
Oak cultivation
We directly support the forest in Vinnytsia (Ukraine). Oaks are bred there and then planted in tree nurseries in the forest.
Incidentally, the proportion of oak in our forests in Ukraine is just under a quarter, the third largest area in Europe. In the Divario's home region of Vinnytsia, the proportion is as high as 71%! The trunks of these oaks, which grow in forests and on flat ground, are largely knot-free and dead straight. We are proud of this high quality of wood, want to preserve it and build our livelihood on it. That is why we only process it into the finest continuous window scantlings to the desired dimensions or in excess lengths, so that windows made from these scantlings will give pleasure for decades to come.

Sustainable
use of wood
All our wood comes from traceable sources. We have also been FSC-certified since the beginning of 2020. FSC is a pioneer in large-scale forest protection and sustainable forest management.
We want to go one step further and take responsibility independently and directly. Most of the forest in Ukraine is owned by the state. To promote the growth of Ukraine's forest volume, we therefore support the local forest administration. Every year, Divario arranges and co-finances the replanting of 25,000 young oak trees. Some of these are used to replant unused potential forest areas.
The leftover pieces from our production are used to produce briquettes, which are distributed free of charge to schools and public buildings in the surrounding area. This counteracts dependence on fossil fuels.
The glue we use is ISO-certified.
Our label
Our label stands for consistent sustainability from the rearing of the oaks (Quercus robur), the manufactured product and the use of the resulting waste wood.

We generate clean electricity for our sustainable products. Divario UA has set itself the goal of producing energy self-sufficiently. In the meantime, we have already succeeded in generating considerably more energy than we need ourselves and have become an energy supplier in the field of renewable energy. In concrete terms, this is achieved with 3000 m2 of solar cells, waste wood heating and drying and the sale of briquettes and wood offcuts. We are pleased to be able to count on our home community as the first customer in the region for our wood energy sources.
